You desperately want to do something about that Dad-bod and your beer belly but you’re too busy to do anything about it. Sound familiar?

The most effective way to burn calories and get rid of fat is to run. You get so much more bang for your buck with running than you do with any other exercise!

I know how easy it can be to let your body soften around the edges. You’re busy!! Life is hectic!!

You don’t actually need much time to change your lifestyle though!

All you need is 3x 30 minutes per week. Here’s how to get the best out of your week:

  1. PLANNING

Check your diary and work out when you could fit in 3x 30 minute slots. There’s bound to be space in there somewhere! Early in the morning, lunchtime, straight after work or a great way to fit it in is to drop the kids off at a club, go for a run, pick them up again! Perfect!

  2. PREPARATION

Be prepared! If you’re running first thing, get your kit organised and laid out before bed. Get up and put it on straight away - or if it’s at lunchtime, get your bag packed the night before and put it in the car - likewise for any other time of the day. Be prepared and remove those excuses!

  3. ROUTINE

In step 1 - be sure to write down exactly when you plan to run. It’s a great idea to make it the same time and day every week and set it in stone. Get yourself into a routine and you don’t even have to think about it!
