Calum Crighton

Firstly, I’m a Dad and a family man.

I completely get how difficult it can sometimes seem to fit training in and around a busy lifestyle. But I also know that it can be done!

I first attempted running back in 2012 when I signed up for a few marathons and the D33 ultramarathon. I did next to no training. And those races hurt. A lot. Previous to that, I flirted with a few 10k races, raising money for a few charities. Without any proper training, my best 10k was just under 47 minutes. I was quite lucky in that I’d always maintained a reasonable level of fitness through playing football but without some good training, I was never going to improve.

Since then, I have massively improved my times. My PBs now look like this:

  • 9:52 (3k)
  • 17:27 (5k)
  • 36:11 (10k)
  • 82:07 (HM)
  • 3:03:39 (Marathon)

  • I am passionate and enthusiastic about helping others to improve their lifestyles and running provides a brilliant tool to do just that. I strongly believe that running can give your physical and, more importantly, mental health an enormous boost.

I can help you plan your running around your busy lifestyle and you can reap the benefits.

Through the guided running experiences and holidays, I can help you to explore the great outdoors that North East Scotland has to offer.
